Haro Wine Festival
Haro, an enchanting town in Spain's La Rioja locale, is most well known for it full-seasoned vino tinto, and the inebriating celebration that commends this delectable drink.
Haro Wine Festival is a celebration in the town of Haro in the La Rioja locale of northern Spain. It is held each year in the late spring and includes wine drinking rivalries and challenges and a Batalla de Vino (Battle of Wine) where wines are poured at each other from cans and buckets.

The festival happens on June 29, the day of the benefactor holy person San Pedro. The day starts at 7:00 am, with a parade of individuals old and youthful, wearing white shirts and red scarves, all conveying containers, jugs, botas and different sorts of holders loaded with red wine. Driven by the town's chairman, on horseback, the parade winds through the town to the Cliffs of Bilibio, where a mass is praised at the Hermitage of San Felices de Bilibio. After the mass a genuine free-for-all starts, with everybody hurling wine on each other until all are splashed from head to foot. There is an ocean of wet, pink shirts all around.
